President Tinubu would soon release Nnamdi Kanu, according to a report.
Nnamdi Kanu might soon be released by President Tinubu: Following a private meeting between Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah and President Bola Tinubu earlier today, Thursday, June 8, 2023, this is currently a hot subject on social media.
As part of a larger national healing process that the President had already started, Governor Mbah told reporters after the meeting that he had asked President Tinubu to take Kanu's release into consideration.
The governor expressed confidence that the President would be sympathetic to his appeal. In addition, Governor Mbah requested assistance from the federal government in using Enugu State's abundant mineral resources for the benefit of its citizens. The Department of State Services (DSS) has been holding Kanu in custody ever since his detention.
