I'll be sharing a method to bypass the pattern, pin, or password lock on Transsion (Tecno, Infinix & Itel) smartphones without losing your data. I have tested this on a Tecno Camon 12 running on Android 9. Although I cannot guarantee a 100% success rate for all models, it's definitely worth giving it a try.
To perform this method, you will need the following:
- Transsion Software Download (Aftersales) tool, version V4.1901.23.17
- The exact stock firmware for your phone model, whose build number version matches your phone
- Caution: Back up the full firmware from your device before proceeding, just in case. You can make a firmware backup of all partitions using any tool you know of, such as Miracle Thunder, NCK Box, or WWR MTK (use the search bar at the top of the forum to search for this).
Here's the step-by-step procedure:
1. Download and install the Tecno flash tool (SWD) on your PC.
2. Download and extract the phone's stock firmware.
3. Launch the SWD tool and choose the scatter file from the downloaded firmware.
4. On the drop-down list, choose 'download only, reserve user data' (it is selected by default).
5. Power off the phone.
6. Connect the phone through a USB cable, and the flashing process will start automatically. And don't forget to install important drivers you need to install please.
7. When it's finished, it will show a success message.
8. After that, reboot the phone.
That's it! Your data will be untouched, and the password or pattern will be removed.
